Flower Delivery Tips
Choose an established online florist
While most online florists offer a fantastic selection of fresh flowers and flower arrangements, it’s often best to choose an established online florist that has the experience required to complete a successful on-time Flower Delivery.
Order early
While it’s always a good idea to give your online florist plenty of time to make and deliver the perfect bouquet, it is essential to order early during the holiday season, and for events such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
Consider the delivery address
Is your recipient going to be at work or at home? What time of day do you want the Flower Delivery to arrive? Are you delivering flowers to a business, and will the flowers be directed to your recipient? While most online florists do a great job delivering flowers in varied environments, it just makes sense to help them out, and add appropriate instructions in your online flower delivery notes.
Intended meaning of your Flower Delivery
While any Flower Delivery will be appreciated, try to make sure that your intended message is conveyed to the recipient. For example, red roses are best suited for Valentine’s Day and romantic occasions, whereas yellow roses may be best suited as a Sympathy Flower Delivery, or as a Get-Well Flower Delivery. When in doubt, ask your online florist for their opinion and trust their judgment. They know, they’re pros!
Always include a note
Often, Online Flower Deliveries are unexpected and pleasant surprises, which may create a stir and a bit of confusion. So, make sure that you include a note with your Flower Delivery that informs the recipient of who sent it, and what it’s intent is. While surprises are welcome, confusion usually isn’t fun, or the desired effect.
